Actually, I make these quotes up everday and attribute other people's name to them!
No, but seriously, I guess from reading books and from an ongoing file of quotes that I have accumulated, plus, just from stuff that I see here and there.
For instance, the next quote I want to use is something I saw written in chalk on a signboard this weekend. In front of a bookstore. So I got out a scrap paper and wrote the thing down.
