Splash du Jour: Thursday

I have, all my life long, been lying till noon; yet I tell all young men, and tell them with great sincerity, that nobody who does not rise early will ever do any good.
-- Samuel Johnson (1709-1784) –

Thank you Sam. I myself cannot recall even one weekday in the past 95 years when I actually wanted to get out of bed when the alarm clock told me I had to do so!
Including today! Having said that…

Have a great Thursday!

There are a few days where I bound out of bed...Christmans morning, my birthday...but very few as an adult.

Good for him -- I love that moment of confession. It confirms what you suspected all along -- that all righteous people are secretly doing the exact opposite of what they tell you to do.
