I'm reading Steppenwolf by Hesse right now. It's about a middle aged man who doesn't really have much a of social life. He spends all his time reading and then drinking. Hmm...
Hey Shark... I have the novel sitting here in my Library and have never read it. Sounds like the book is about........ me! I've read Hesse's Narziss and Goldmund, and have always wanted to read Siddharta but haven't gotten around to it yet.
Without words, without writing and without books there would be no history, there could be no concept of humanity.
