INTERVIEWER: How do you take your coffee?MARGARET ATWOOD: With cream or steamed milk, or sometimes I have an espresso. Of course, it depends what country you’re in. I’m old enough to remember when the waiters in Paris would come to your table and pour the coffee from a great height, and at the same time, they’d pour the hot milk, and the two streams would meet above your cup. It was an art form. You’d order it just to see them do it.
