Splash du Jour: Monday

"I could cry." Alexandra said sincerely, he had stirred such memories within her, and such inklings of her future; music lights up with its pulsing lamp the cave of our being.
-- John Updike, The Witches of Eastwick --

Have a great Monday!

I am reading this right now!?!? Although the third person narration means I can only read 5 pages at a time. Updike is so 19th century with his 3rd person and he will never be thought off as a great writer because of it. He is about a generation away from the dustbin of history.

Oooooh, harsh words Euronymous. And yet, as you can see with my current wee review-thoughts, I did not exactly go ga-ga over this one.
