For this week's Saturday Snapshot I am utilizing one of Alyce's provisos:
The snapshot of a "friend".
My decade-long faithful Reading Partner is [among other things] a certified Duckmistress©. Which is to say, every summer she raises another brood of ducklings on her Illinois-based duck-farm.
Here is a shot of the current brood of peepers in a bit of an impromptu huddle.
If I'm not mistaken, the topic at this particular beak-flapping was the current state of the Euro-dollar, and the repurcussions of Spain's monetary bailout.
Aren't they adorable?
What is cuter [besides kittens… and Nicole Kidman]… and -- seriously thinking now, maybe… Nicole Kidman holding a kitten?
What is cuter than a fuzz-faced pile of world-weary ducklings?

So cute, my friend used to have ducks and ducklings, they are so soft and tiny and awww.
They do look so cute - bet they're noisy too.

They're adorable! Who knew they huddled like that? I've only ever seen them line up behind their mammas and waddle to the water.

Wow, how cute! But have you ever stopped to think that perhaps it was not an impromptu huddle at all but that actually they were engaged in a rousing game of rugby?

I want to gather those duckies up in my arms except I bet they would nip and be a tad less adorable then. But really, how cute. The addition of Nicole...yes, even cuter. Did you see her in the Hemmingway thing on HBO? Not bad.
