At the age of fifty women begin a new kind of beauty, as one might take up a new career in life, or as ground that is no longer any good for vines can be used for growing beet. Around these features a new youthfulness begins to flourish.
-- Marcel Proust –
Have a great Monday!
'New Youthfulness'? Hmmmm....I'm not yet 50, and I certainly appreciate that quote, but I dunno...if Proust saw my boobs without a bra, I don't think he'd call it 'New Youthfulness'.

ReplyDeleteCloser and closer to 50 and two kids later, I hardly feel I'll ever look remotely youthful again. Even "Semblance of New Youthfulness" is going overboard.
ReplyDeleteAhhh.... 50 is when we just get rolling.
ReplyDeleteEven though in my case, as 50 approaches, the only two things really "rolling" is my money (out the window) and my gut (over my belt...)
But seriously... you girls, you only start getting all revved up now. This is what I have been told!
Oh yes, I feel better indeed since I'm 50. I don't care about looking youthful or not, not really...
