This is the process, from start to finish. The only step missing is the actual growing of the beans.

You seriously roast your own coffee beans? That's hardcore!
It's my friend that has all of this coffee equipment. Thousands of dollars worth of high-end coffee apparatuses. Yes, he is seriously hardcore about coffee.
He buys the green beans in 50-pound bags!
He doesn't grow his own beans? You know, if you're just going to do this half-assed, you might as well drink Folger's Crystals.

as in 'book'?
I take issue with topping it up with, ugh, water and diluting all those lovely oils. I sthat a Breville?

I swear, you've got the most interesting WV going.
I must be totally out of the loop.
I am not at all sure what "WV" stands for.
What am I missing here, folks?
That's what you get when you order un Caffè Americano in Rome, espresso (what Italians call un caffè, never un'espresso - only foreigners who think they speak the language do that) diluted with boiled water.
Amazing the domestic coffee roaster, never even heard of it! :-)
